NPI Atlas

About NPI Atlas

NPI Atlas is a reference tool for United States healthcare provider registry data. Every provider who bills insurance in the US has a National Provider Identifier (NPI), and the federal NPPES registry that stores those records is public. We turn that raw file into pages people can actually read: one clean profile per provider, city and specialty directories, and derived facts such as who else practices at the same address.

The current release covers 55,346 Texas nurse practitioners and physician assistants across 865 cities, from the June 2026 NPPES file. Coverage expands from there. We state what we cover plainly and never present this site as the government registry itself; for the authoritative record, NPPES is always the source.

Who runs it

NPI Atlas is an independent reference project built on official government data. Contact: contact@npiatlas.com.

Principles

  • Government data, presented faithfully. No invented facts, no filler text.
  • Every number on the site is computed from the source file and dated.
  • Fast pages, no ads in this release, no third-party scripts.
  • A visible correction path: see corrections and methodology.

Not medical advice. NPI Atlas helps you find and verify registry records; it does not rate providers or recommend care.
