Privacy policy

As little as the web allows. This release of NPI Atlas sets no cookies, runs no analytics, serves no ads, and loads no third-party scripts. Search queries and NPI lookups are processed to answer the request and are not tied to you. Our hosting infrastructure keeps standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, requested URL, user agent) for security and operations, as virtually all websites do.

The NPI validator runs entirely in your browser; numbers you type there are never sent to us.

Provider profiles are built from the NPPES Data Dissemination file, a public record published by the US government. It contains business practice information (name, credential, specialty, practice address, phone number) that providers submitted when registering for an NPI. If your information appears here and needs to change, see corrections; urgent removal requests go to contact@npiatlas.com.

If you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle the request and our legal obligations, and we do not add you to any list.
